Oh Christmas Tree
We decorated our tree last night. Today I found Sadie eating a candy cane that Lacey had taken off the tree. This is an old candy cane from last year! Then I found about half the decorations in Lacey's room and the tree bare, all towards the bottom. Now I think I know who took them.

Halloween 2009
It was cold on the night of Trunk or Treat, 2 days before Halloween, so Lacey wore her costume from last year which is warmer. It is a sheep outfit. Sadie was a ghost. This is a RARE picture of Sadie because we have never caught her smiling on camera before! Chris had to take the pic so he couldn't be in it, booo!!

We wanted Sadie in this pic but Lacey wouldn't hold her well enough.

Lacey and her best friend Taya

Here is Lacey on Halloween, it was warm so she wore here Snow White costume. She loves being a princess!!

Emergency Essentials
So I just tried out Emergency Essentials new calculator to see how long my food storage would last. I was shocked that it would only last 93 days - I thought I had at least an 8 month supply! Have you seen how much food storage I have in my basement? I guess my family of four needs 6000 calories a day, based on their ages (the calculator figured it out for me) so then I selected from check boxes the food I had, I didn't even have to type it in, and whoooooaaa! It said 93 days. Guess I am not done yet :( Enter in your family members and select how much of each #10 can or 45 gallon pail of food storage you have for free here:

Stuck in the potty
Lacey has a training potty sitting next to the bathtub, and one day when bathing she pulled the potty in the tub with her and was playing with it. She climbed inside it, which was cute at first, but then when I tried to pull her out, she was STUCK!!! I had to call in re-enforcements (Chris) and together we couldn't get her out. Just when we were looking for the saw to cut it off her, we were able to turn her sideways and just yank it out- leaving red marks on her legs. So new moms, word of the wise, training pottys shouldn't be play toys!!!!
